Fiserv Premier is a best in class core banking system used by many banks in North America. Many banks use Monarch to extract data out of the reports from the core system such as:

  • Deposit Balance Reference Journal
  • Certificates Balance Reference Journal
  • Item Entry Memo Post Report
  • SCM Security User List

However Monarch can be used to accomplish a wider variety of business processes with the Data Prep Studio such as:

  • Monitoring Cash On Hand Activity at Branches and ATMs by combining data from Integrated Teller and Premier Reports
  • Analyzing Item Entry report on Meme Post Transactions
  • Reviewing Item Entry Block Listing
  • Combining data across multiple Balance Reference Journals
  • And performing a deep dive analysis on Service Charges
Last but not least; These Processes and many more can be automated using the Monarch Server Product. For either one process, a chain of processes, or multiple processes.
 
Lets take a closer look at one complex process which is the ‘User Access’
SCM User List
 
Essentially, the FDIC requires that banks monitor user access to the Core banking system, and the report that enables this within premier is the SCM User List report. This report lists an users access to potentially over 70 modules. However it is challenging to extract data out of this report and requires reading the meaning of codes withing the PDF document of the security listing. Lastly, each department must review their employees access. With Monarch, and a pre-built template from our Monarch Model Library the process can be accomplished in minutes versus hours.
